About Us

Dr. Carmichael was born and raised in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Normandy High School. He graduated from Ohio State University with degrees in Microbiology and Virology before attending Ohio Stated Dental School, where he received his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1984. Shortly after graduation he joined Rockside Family Dental and has been in practice here since 1984. He enjoys the variety that a family dental practice provides and especially treating dental phobic patients.

Dr. Carmichael has studied at the renowned Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental cosmetic procedures as well as neuromuscular treatment of TMJ pain and implant dentistry.

Dr. Carmichael resides in Fairlawn, Ohio with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys all sports especially swimming, water and snow skiing.

Dr. William Brosky was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio where he graduated from Saint John High School in 1974.  He earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry from John Carroll University and continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating in 1981.  Dr. Brosky and his wife, Gretchen, married in 1982 and have three children, Nicholas, Griffin, and Colby. Dr. Brosky joined Rockside Family Dental Care in 1990.

Dr. Brosky has studied at The Las Vegas Institute and most recently at The Center for Occlusal Studies.  His emphasis is on restorative dentistry and orthodontics, but practices all phases of general dentistry.  He is a most dedicated Buckeyes fan, enjoys all sports, reading and is an avid golfer.

Dr. Paul Russ was born and raised in Cleveland Heights, OH. He graduated from Cleveland St. Ignatius High School in 1994. He was accepted into OSU Dental School prior to graduation, while studying Biology at Ohio State University. In 2003 Dr. Russ graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Doctorate in Dentistry from The Ohio State University. Dr. Russ practiced in Akron, prior to coming to Rockside Family Dental Care in 2007.

As a General Dentist, Dr Russ enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr Russ has taken advanced coursework in many areas from Cosmetics and Implants to Invisalign, and most recently treatment of Snoring and Sleep Apnea.

Dr. Russ now lives in Broadview Heights with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, and working on his home and yard. Dr. Russ is a Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan. He also enjoys the art of Bonsai.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jason Jeran, DMD to our dental family at Rockside Family Dental Care.

Dr. Jeran grew up in Mentor, Ohio where he attended Lake Catholic High School.  He earned his degree in psychology at the University of Dayton.

His passion for dentistry developed during his attendance at Case Western Reserve University of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Jeran spent several years practicing dentistry elsewhere in Ohio before making the move to Rockside Family Dental Care, and we are excited to have him join our caring staff.

Dr. Jeran still resides in Mentor with his wife Sarah and his two dogs.  In his free time he is an avid golfer.  He loves traveling to new golf courses with his friends and just enjoying the day...which he admits is much more enjoyable if he is playing well.  He is also a dedicated Cleveland sports fan with his favorite team being the Browns….”even though it can be painful to watch at times.”  One of his unique hobbies is caring for his saltwater reef fish tank.  After seven years, his tank includes many exotic fish, live coral, sea urchins, ornamental shrimp, sea stars and much more.
