Dental x-rays are really important because they show us things like a cavity in your teeth, any abscesses starting to form, or any problems with the bone. It’s important that we can see when these types of issues are going on in the mouth and x-rays allow us to see a lot more than we could with the naked eye. Now, the frequency that one would actually get x-rays done at the dentist is really dependent on the patient themselves.

Not everyone needs to have x-rays conducted at every visit. We would make the frequency a little bit less for people that do have a lot of dental issues.
